Sweet Potato Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. cooked mashed sweet potatoes (6 large sweet potatoes)
2 sticks butter (1/2 lb.)
3 c. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs, well beaten
3 Tbsp. light cream
2 pie crust shells (9-inch)
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Mash your sweet potatoes thoroughly; allow to cool slightly.
Add butter; whip until it is all creamed into the potatoes.
Add sugar and spices, beating thoroughly.
Add eggs; beat.
Add cream and blend.
Pour into pie crust shells and bake at 350\u00b0 for approximately 50 minutes, until filling is firm.
