Carrot Cake(Family Favorite) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1 1/2 c. vegetable oil
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. shredded coconut
    2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. baking soda
    3 eggs
    2 c. carrots, finely grated
    1 c. well-drained crushed pineapple
    1 c. nuts, chopped
Preparation
    In mixing bowl, combine dry ingredients.
    Add eggs, oil, carrots and vanilla; beat until combined.
    Stir in pineapple, coconut and 1/2 cup nuts.
    Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13 x 2-inch baking pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0
    for 50 to 60 minutes, or until cake tests done.
    Cool.
    Frost with cream cheese frosting and sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup nuts.
    Store in refrigerator. Works well for this altitude.
