Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 c. water
    1/2 (3 oz.) box strawberry Jell-O
    2 c. fresh strawberries
    1 (9-inch) baked pie crust
    Cool Whip, Dream Whip or sweetened whipped cream
Preparation
    Combine sugar, cornstarch and water. Boil until thickened or for about 3 minutes.
    Remove from heat.
    Add Jell-O, stirring until dissolved.
    Cool.
    Place strawberries in pie shell.
    Pour Jell-O mixture over top.
    Chill for at least 1 hour before serving.
    Top with Cool Whip.
    Yields 6 to 8 servings.
