Fresh Peach Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. fresh peaches
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 stick butter or margarine
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Combine fresh
    peaches and 3/4 cup sugar.
    Let stand 20 minutes.
    Melt butter or margarine in a 2 quart baking dish in oven or
    microwave.
    Sift
    together
    all-purpose
    flour, 1 cup sugar and
    baking
    powder.\tAdd
    milk
    and stir briskly, lumps will remain.
    Pour into baking dish of melted butter, top with peaches.
    Bake 45 minutes at 350\u00b0.\tMay substitute other fruit for the peaches.
