Florence Neifert'S Chocolate Drops - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1 egg
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
3 sq. unsweetened Baker's chocolate, melted
1 2/3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
Preparation

Cream together brown sugar and shortening.
Add to creamed mixture the egg and milk.
Mix well.
Add remaining ingredients. Mix well.
Drop by teaspoons on cookie sheet; bake at 350\u00b0 until they spring back when touched lightly.
Time depends on how small you make the cookies.
Ice with white icing if desired when cooled.
