Brandy Snaps - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 oz. butter
    4 oz. sugar
    4 oz. golden syrup (1/4 c.)
    4 oz. flour
    1 tsp. ground ginger
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar; beat in syrup.
    Sift in flour and ginger and mix.
    Place a teaspoon at a time on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Spread mixture out.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until pale brown (approximately 8 minutes).
    When just cool enough to handle, curl around a broom handle and leave until cool and set.
    Twenty minutes prior to serving, fill with whipped cream.
