5-Spice Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground meat
    1 Tbsp. oil
    3/4 c. chopped onion
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    1/2 bay leaf
    1/8 tsp. oregano
    1/8 tsp. thyme
    1/8 tsp. garlic powder
    1 can tomatoes
    1 can mushroom soup
    1 c. Minute rice
    2 or 3 slices American cheese
Preparation
    Brown meat in oil.
    Add onion and cook.
    Stir in seasonings, tomatoes and soup.
    Add Minute rice (uncooked).
    Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes.
