Buttermilk Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. white sugar
    3 eggs
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. pecan halves, chopped up
    1/2 c. butter
    3 1/2 tsp. flour
    1 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Cream the butter and sugar, adding sugar 1/2 cup at a time. Add eggs, stirring them in one at a time.
    Combine flour and salt, then add to mixture.
    Stir in buttermilk, then pecans.
    Mixture will be thin.
    Pour into unbaked pie shell and bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours, until dark golden brown.
    Serve with ice cream or whipped cream.
