Chicken-Rice Magnifique - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 boneless chicken breasts
4 Tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
dash of black and red pepper
1 c. carrots, shredded
1/2 c. green onions, sliced
1/2 c. chopped parsley
1 c. long grain rice, raw
3 c. chicken broth
dash of Tabasco
2 slices bacon, quartered
Preparation

In skillet, brown chicken in butter after liberally seasoning them with salt and pepper.
Remove and set aside.
In same skillet cook carrots, onions and parsley until tender, stirring frequently. Add raw rice and stir until well mixed; add chicken broth, salt, pepper and Tabasco.
Pour mixture into greased oblong casserole and top with chicken.
Sprinkle with additional salt and pepper if needed and place bacon on top of chicken.
Cover and cook at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/4 hours or until chicken is tender.
Remove bacon slices before serving.
Delicious main dish!!
