Catskinner Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. sugar
1 c. flaked coconut
3/4 c. buttermilk
3/4 c. oil
3 large eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1 (8 oz.) crushed pineapple, drained
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. buttermilk
3 Tbsp. light corn syrup
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Combine first 9 ingredients in a large mixing bowl; beat at medium speed 5 minutes. Stir in pineapple and nuts. Pour batter into a greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes. Set pan on wire rack.
