Sweet Potato Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. mashed, cooked sweet potatoes
    2/3 c. packed light brown sugar
    pinch of salt
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. allspice
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs, well beaten
    1/4 c. butter
    1 c. hot milk
    1/4 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 450\u00b0.
    Combine sweet potatoes, sugar, salt, spices, eggs and vanilla.
    Blend thoroughly.
    Melt butter in hot milk.
    Stir into mixture.
    Stir in pecans.
    Put into 9-inch unbaked pie shell.
    Bake 10 minutes.
    Remove from oven.
    Garnish with pecan halves.
    Reduce heat to 350\u00b0.
    Bake 40 to 45 minutes longer.
    Cool completely before cutting.
