Raspberry Streusel Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. sugar (white)
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    3/4 c. butter
    1 1/2 c. oat flakes (quick-cooking)
    1 (10 oz.) jar or 3/4 c. raspberry jam
    1/4 c. almonds, chopped
Preparation
    Combine first 3 ingredients in a bowl.
    Stir in both sugars. Cut in butter until mixture is crumbly.
    Stir in oat flakes. Press about 2/3 of mixture on bottom of a lightly greased 9 x 9-inch pan.
    Spread preserves over this.
    Add almonds to remaining mixture and sprinkle over preserves.
    Pat down.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes or until golden.
    Cool.
