Broccoli And Cheese Soup Ii - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. chopped onion
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. milk
    7 slices American cheese, cut up
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    2 chicken cubes
    1/2 bay leaf
    1 1/2 c. water
    10 oz. frozen chopped broccoli
Preparation
    Cook onion in margarine; stir in flour, salt and pepper.
    Add milk; cook until thick.
    Add cheese and stir until melted; remove from heat.
    In medium saucepan dissolve bouillon in water.
    Add bay leaf; add broccoli and simmer 20 minutes.
    Add to cheese mixture.
    Cook 10 more minutes on low heat.
