Asparagus Chicken Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 oz. white chicken meat, cooked and diced
    2 (10 oz.) cans asparagus, broken spears
    1/2 c. margarine or butter
    1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
    1/2 can asparagus liquid
    12 crackers, crushed
    1 c. extra-sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
    1 can water chestnuts, drained
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    slivered toasted almonds
Preparation
    Drain asparagus and combine with soup, chicken, cracker crumbs, cheese and water chestnuts in a 1-quart baking dish. Sprinkle with garlic powder and almonds.
