Pumpkin Chiffon Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c brown sugar
1/2 tsp ginger
3 eggs separated
1/4 tsp allspice
1 1/4 c pumpkin
1/2 c sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
2 Tbsp white sugar
Preparation

In a pan or double boiler, mix all ingredients except egg whites and sugar and cook on low heat, stirring often, until it begins to thicken.
Add 1 Tbsp Knox gelatin to 1/4 c cold water and let stand 5 minutes.
Then add to pumpkin mixture. Then beat 3 egg whites, add 2 Tbsp sugar, mix and pour into hot pumpkin mixture and mix about 3 minutes.
