Standing Rib Roast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    roast
    garlic cloves
    black pepper
    1 c. water
    1 tsp. A.1. sauce
Preparation
    Trim most fat, then pierce under fat left and put in garlic cloves.
    Season with black pepper (I use coarse ground) and roast in a 325\u00b0 oven for about 20 minutes per pound.
    Check temperature: for rare 140\u00b0, medium 150\u00b0 and well 155\u00b0.
    Pour off most of the fat drippings.
    Add water and A.1. sauce for au jus.
