Pepper Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. round steak, cut into 1/2-inch strips
    1 tsp. paprika
    2 Tbsp. oleo
    2 garlic cloves, crushed or garlic salt
    1 1/2 c. beef broth
    1 c. green onions, sliced (including tops)
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 c. water
    1/4 c. soy sauce
    2 fresh tomatoes, cut into eighths
Preparation
    Pound steak before cutting in strips.
    Sprinkle with paprika. Let set while preparing vegetables.
    Put oleo in a large skillet and melt.
    Add meat and brown; then, add garlic and broth.
    Cook 30 minutes and add vegetables.
    Cook for 5 minutes.
    Blend the cornstarch, water and soy sauce.
    Add to meat mixture.
    Cook about 2 minutes.
    Add tomatoes.
    Stir gently.
    Serve over platter of 3 cups cooked rice.
