Baked Tomatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 tomatoes, sliced 1/2-inch thick
    1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    2 to 3 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. light cream
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1/8 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Dust tomato slices with flour seasoned with salt, pepper and sugar.
    Brown lightly in butter and transfer to a baking dish. Stir cream, sugar and soda into pan drippings, blending well. Pour over tomatoes and bake at 325\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
