German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 slices bacon
    1/3 c. water
    3 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    2 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    1 Tbsp. mustard
    6 c. hot diced potatoes
    1/2 c. onion, chopped
    1 c. sour cream
    1 Tbsp. parsley, chopped
Preparation
    Fry bacon until crisp; drain well, reserving 2 tablespoons bacon fat.
    Add water, vinegar, sugar, salt, pepper and mustard to bacon fat and heat, stirring, until sugar is dissolved and mixture boils.
    Add potatoes and onion and toss gently until most of dressing is absorbed.
    Fold in sour cream, parsley and crumbled bacon.
    Serve warm.
