Sour Cream Cucumbers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium cucumbers
    salt
    1 c. sour cream
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    6 medium onions, sliced and separated into rings
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    dash of cayenne pepper
Preparation
    Peel cucumbers and score with fork tines.
    Slice evenly in a large bowl and sprinkle generously with salt.
    Let stand until cucumbers appear soft.
    After a few hours, drain salt off.
    Taste, if too salty, rinse in clear water.
    Squeeze all liquid from cucumbers.
    Add onions.
    Mix remaining ingredients and pour over cucumbers.
    Coat.
    Chill several hours or overnight.
