Pork Chops Mexicana - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 thick pork chops or chicken breasts
    1 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. uncooked rice (long grain)
    1/2 pkg. taco seasoning mix
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 1/2 c. water
    1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    1 bell pepper, cut in rings
Preparation
    Brown chops.
    Arrange in 9 x 13-inch pan and season with salt. Sprinkle rice around meat.
    Combine taco seasoning, tomato sauce and water.
    Pour over chops.
    Cover tightly with foil.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Remove from oven and sprinkle with grated cheese.
    Arrange pepper rings on top.
    Return to oven until cheese melts.
