Refrigerator Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. thinly sliced cucumbers (about 10 or 12)
    1 c. thinly sliced onion
    1 c. diced green or red pepper or both
    1 c. cider vinegar
    2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. celery seed
    2 Tbsp. table salt
Preparation
    Put cucumbers, onion and peppers in a gallon glass jar.
    Mix vinegar, sugar, celery seed and salt and bring to a boil.
    Cool. When cool, pour over pickles in jar.
    Ready to eat in two days. These will keep up to one year
    in the refrigerator.
    (Be sure to use a glass jar.)
