Holiday Fruitcake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 eggs
    4 c. sugar
    6 c. flour (Wondra)
    4 sticks butter (1 lb.)
    1 lb. blanched almonds, chopped
    1 lb. pecans, chopped
    1 lb. tropical fruit, diced
    1 lb. glace cherries, diced
    1 lb. glace pineapple, diced
    1 lb. pitted dates, cut up
    1 lb. yellow raisins
    2 coconuts, ground fine
    2 tsp. baking soda
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. salt
    1 qt. buttermilk
    1 1/2 c. bourbon
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar, then add eggs and flour with salt, cream of tartar, baking soda and buttermilk.
    Alternate flour and buttermilk mixing well.
    Add bourbon, vanilla, nuts, fruit and then coconut, mixing after each addition.
