Applesauce Delight - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 envelope unflavored gelatin
    1/4 c. water
    1 can (1 2/3 c.) Pet evaporated skim milk
    1 (16 1/2 oz.) can applesauce
    1/2 tsp. lemon peel, grated
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1/2 tsp. liquid artificial sweetener or 1/4 c. sugar
    3/4 c. graham crackers
    1 tsp. cinnamon (optional)
Preparation
    Melt gelatin in water over low heat.
    Stir in evaporated milk. Add applesauce, lemon peel, salt, vanilla, lemon juice and sweetener.\tChill until thick as unbeaten egg whites. Add cinnamon (optional).
