Chocolate Velvet Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c semisweet chocolate morsels
    1/2 c butter softened
    1 (16 oz) box light brown sugar
    4 large eggs
    2 c all purpose flour, sifted 3 times
    1 tsp baking soda
    1/2 tsp salt
    1 (8 oz) container sour cream
    1 c hot water
    2 tsp vanilla flavoring
Preparation
    Melt chocolate in microwave in bowl about 1 1/2 minutes. Stir until smooth.
    Beat butter and sugar at medium speed until well blended-about 5 minutes.
    Add eggs 1 at a time, beating just until blended after each addition.
    Add melted chocolate, beating until blended.
    Sift together flour, baking soda and salt.
    Sift 3 times.
    Gradually add 1 cup hot water in a slow stream.
    Beat just until blended, stir in vanilla.
    Spoon into 3 greased and floured 8 inch round cake pans.
    Bake in 350 degree oven for 25 to 30 minutes.
    Cool in pan for 10 minutes-remove from pans and let cool on wire rack.
