Fruit Cocktail Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    dash of salt
    1 egg, beaten
    1 can fruit cocktail, drained
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Mix dry ingredients.
    Add egg and fruit cocktail.
    Mix with a spoon.
    Put in pan and sprinkle brown sugar and chopped nuts on top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 minutes.
    Serve with whipped cream.
