Doreen'S Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. Crisco solid shortening
3 c. sugar
5 eggs
3 c. plain flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
2 tsp. vanilla
2 sticks margarine
Preparation

Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
Beat margarine and shortening until creamed.
Gradually add sugar, then eggs, one at a time.
Beat well, then add flour mixture, alternately with milk and flavoring.
Mix well.
Pour into a 10-inch tube pan or 3 loaf pans.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
