Cherry Coffee Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 eggs
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. oil
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Beat eggs very light. Gradually beat in the sugar. Add rest of the ingredients.
    Put 2/3 of the batter in a 9 x 13-inch pan. Spread 1 can cherry pie filling over batter, then remainder of the batter.
    You may sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon or after baked, glaze with thin powdered sugar frosting.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for about 40 minutes.
