Seafoam Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. light brown sugar
    2 egg whites
    5 Tbsp. cold water
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped nuts (if desired)
Preparation
    Mix in top of double boiler and beat over boiling water with mixer
    for 7 minutes.
    Stir in vanilla.
    Remove from over water and
    stir
    with
    spoon
    until
    of
    desired consistency. (Ready almost
    immediately.)
    Add
    1
    cup chopped nuts, if desired. Spread on cake.
