Pepper Roast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 to 6 lb. boneless rump roast
    slivered garlic
    lemon pepper
Preparation
    Take off all fat.
    Place slivered garlic in slits in roast. Wet roast under faucet.
    Rub lemon pepper all over, kind of pat in.
    Add more for good measure and pat on.
    Marinate several hours or overnight.
    Cook in oven, uncovered, at 200\u00b0 for one hour, then turn oven as low as it will go and cook for 3 hours. Refrigerate.
    When thoroughly cold, cut and serve.
