Sweetheart Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. crushed pineapple
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 Tbsp. Knox gelatine
    1/4 c. cold water
    1/2 pkg. whipping cream or Dream Whip
    4 Tbsp. lemon gelatin
    2 Tbsp. cherry juice
    6 oz. cream cheese
    12 large cherries
    nuts (if desired)
Preparation
    Heat crushed pineapple with sugar.
    Add gelatine which has been soaked in cold water for 5 minutes.
    Stir until melted; add lemon gelatin and cherry juice and cool.
    Mix cream cheese with cherries (cut fine).
    Then add to pineapple mixture.
    Chill until slightly thick.
    Fold whipped cream into mixture.
    Mold and chill.
