Pinto Beef Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 can tomato sauce (15 oz.)
    1 tsp. salt
    2 c. cooked rice
    1 can pinto beans, drained
    3/4 lb. Cheddar cheese, shredded
    2 tsp. chili powder
Preparation
    Brown and drain meat.
    Add next 3 ingredients.
    Cook until tender.
    Blend in tomato sauce, chili powder and salt.
    In
    a greased 2-quart baking dish, arrange in layers, beginning and ending with meat sauce.
    Sprinkle with 1/4 cup cheese and bake 15 to 20 minutes at 350\u00b0.
