Hot Rolls Or Sticky Buns - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. mashed potatoes
    1 pkg. yeast
    1/3 c. lukewarm water
    1 c. milk
    1/2 c. granulated sugar
    1 well beaten egg
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    4 1/2 c. sifted flour
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in warm water.
    Scald milk on low; add butter, salt and sugar, then cool to lukewarm.
    Add 2 1/2 cups flour and beat well.
    Add yeast and egg and potatoes.
    Add remaining 2 cups of flour.
    Put on board and knead lightly.
    Put in greased bowl and cover.
    Let rise until double in size.
    Shape into rolls or buns and let rise about 1 hour.
    Bake 15 to 20 minutes at 350\u00b0. For sweet rolls, cut with a round cutter, spread with butter, brown sugar and cinnamon and seal.
