Dill Cucumber Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 or 3-inch fresh cucumbers
    fresh dill
    1 qt. white vinegar
    1 c. pure granulated salt
    1/2 tsp. turmeric
    few bay leaves
Preparation
    Scrub cucumbers; rinse well and dry on paper towels.
    Pack in 7-quart jars and add 1 or 2 heads dill to each jar.
    Bring remaining ingredients to boil in 3 quarts water (preferably distilled).
    Fill jars to within 1/2-inch of top.
    Seal as manufacturer directs and process in boiling water for 10 minutes.
