Cabbage Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium cabbage, chopped
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 (8 oz.) can water chestnuts, drained
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1/2 c. mayonnaise type salad dressing
    3/4 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. seasoned stuffing mix
Preparation
    Cook cabbage in a small amount of salted water in saucepan for 5 minutes; drain.
    Place in greased 9 x 13-inch casserole.
    Chop water chestnuts.
    Add to cabbage; mix well.
    Add soup; mix well. Spread salad dressing over mixture.
    Sprinkle with cheese and stuffing mix.
    Bake, covered with foil, at 350\u00b0 until mixture is hot and bubbly.
    Yield:
    6 servings.
