Breakfast Crumb Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    1 3/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    2 eggs
    1 1/4 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. baking soda
    2 tsp. vanilla
    3/4 c. oleo
Preparation
    Sift together the flour, sugar, salt and cream of tartar. Blend in oleo. Work as for pie dough.
    Take out 3/4 cup crumbs for topping.
    Add eggs (beaten slightly) and 1 cup buttermilk alternately to first mixture.
    Blend until smooth.
    Dissolve baking soda in 1/4 cup buttermilk and add to mixture.
    Add vanilla and mix well.
    Divide batter into three 7-inch pie pans, greased and floured.
    Top with crumbs.
    Sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake
    at 400\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
