Herb Butter Roasted Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 to 5 lb. whole roasting chicken
    1/4 c. butter, softened
    1 tsp. rosemary leaves, crushed
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
    1 tsp. minced fresh garlic
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Secure wings to body of chicken.
    In small bowl, stir remaining ingredients.
    Rub chicken with butter mixture.
    Place on rack in roasting pan.
    Bake for 2 to 2 1/2 hours or until fork-tender.
    Makes 4 servings.
