Super Duper Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sifted flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. shortening
    3/4 c. milk
Preparation
    Mix sifted flour, baking powder and salt in a bowl.
    Cut in shortening with pastry cutter until mixture looks like coarse meal.
    Add milk and stir until blended.
    Knead lightly on floured surface, about 10 times.
    Roll dough 1/2-inch thick, cut with a floured biscuit cutter.
    Bake on an ungreased cookie sheet in a 425\u00b0 oven for 12 to 15 minutes.
    Makes about 12.
