Earthquake Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. pecans, chopped
1 c. flaked coconut
1 (18 1/4 oz.) box German chocolate cake mix
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 stick margarine
1 (16 oz.) box powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation

Spray bottom of a 9 x 13-inch pan with nonstick vegetable spray.
Mix together pecans and coconut and spread on bottom of the pan.
Set aside.
Prepare cake mix batter according to package directions.
Pour over pecans and coconut mixture.
In a mixing bowl, cream together the cream cheese, margarine, powdered sugar and vanilla. Drop by spoonfuls over batter. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 minutes.
