Ingredients

1 (9-inch) pie crust
2 1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. shredded coconut
sweetened whipped cream
Preparation

In large bowl, combine first 6 ingredients.
Blend well. Sprinkle coconut into pastry shell.
Pour egg mixture over coconut. Bake at 425\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
Cool; garnish with whipped cream.
Yield:
One 9-inch pie.
