Butterscotch Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. brown sugar
2 c. corn syrup
1/2 lb. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. heavy cream
1 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation

Combine and heat, but do not boil, the first 4 ingredients. After sugar dissolves, cool.
Add the heavy cream and vanilla; beat until well blended.
Store in covered jar.
Will keep for months.
Serve over ice cream or favorite puddings.
