Canadian Cheese Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. finely chopped onion
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1/4 c. all-purpose flour
2 c. milk
2 c. chicken broth
1/4 c. finely diced carrot
1/4 c. finely diced celery
2 oz. sharp process American cheese, cubed
snipped parsley
Preparation

In a saucepan, cook onion in butter until tender.
Blend in flour.
Add milk, chicken broth, carrots, celery, dash of paprika and dash of salt.
Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and bubbles.
Reduce heat.
Add cheese and stir until melted.
Simmer for 15 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Garnish with snipped parsley.
