Apple Cobbler - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter, softened
1 egg, well beaten
1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. plain flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. milk
1 1/2 to 2 c. sliced, fresh apples
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. chopped pecans (optional)
1/2 c. raisins (optional)
Preparation

Cream butter, sugar and egg.
Add vanilla.
Mix together the dry ingredients and slowly add to butter mixture.
Add milk to batter, a small amount at a time.
Place apples in a buttered 9 x 9-inch glass baking dish.
Sprinkle with 1/4 cup sugar and cinnamon.
Add pecans and raisins, if desired.
Pour batter over the apple mixture and bake at 350\u00b0
for 45 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean and the crust is a golden brown.
