Ranch Style Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 strips bacon, cut in small pieces
    1 chopped onion
    6 potatoes, sliced and peeled
    3/4 c. water
Preparation
    Cook
    bacon
    in
    a 12-inch Dutch oven until brown.
    Add chopped
    onion.
    Saute
    until
    clear.
    Add sliced potatoes and water.
    Salt and pepper to taste.
    Cook, stirring occasionally until tender; put 12 coals on top and on bottom.
