Creamy Rice Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. scalded milk
    1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 1/4 c. cooked rice
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. raisins
    1/4 tsp. mace
    2 eggs, slightly beaten
    1/2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Mix milk and next 6 ingredients.
    Slowly stir into the eggs. Turn into 1 1/2-quart casserole.
    Set in a pan 1/2 full of hot water.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for about 1 hour, stirring 1 or 2 times during first 30 minutes.
    Inserted knife, near edge, comes out clean when pudding is done.
    Serves 6.
