Ohelo Cream Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    shortbread crust (9 x 13-inch)
    2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    3/4 c. powdered sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 large tub Cool Whip (2 c.)
    4 c. ohelo berries, cleaned
    3/4 c. water
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    2 c. sugar
    2 pkg. Knox gelatine
Preparation
    Cream
    cream cheese, powdered sugar and
    vanilla.
    Fold in Cool Whip; spread over cooled crust.
    Chill.
    Place cleaned berries, water, lemon juice and sugar in pot;
    cook
    and bring to a
    rolling boil.
    Continue 3 minutes.
    Remove
    from
    heat. Add gelatine which has been dissolved in 1/2
    cup water.
    Cool completely;
    pour over cream cheese.
