Honey Oatmeal Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/2 c. honey
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 egg, well beaten
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3/4 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 c. granola or 1 c. rolled oats
    1 c. coconut
    1/2 c. chopped almonds
Preparation
    Cream shortening, honey and brown sugar until fluffy.
    Add egg and vanilla and beat well.
    Sift together flour, soda, baking powder and salt.
    Add to cream mixture.
    Add granola or other mixture.
    Spread in a greased jelly roll pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
    When cool cut into bars.
