Grandma Lillie'S Russian Cabbage Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes
    6 c. water
    3 lb. Flanken
    2 soup bones
    2 lb. cabbage
    2 Tbsp. kosher salt
    3/4 c. sugar
    juice of 1 lemon
    dash of paprika
    dash of cayenne pepper
Preparation
    Combine tomatoes and water in pot and bring to a boil.
    Add remaining ingredients; stir to blend.
    Simmer with lid ajar until meat is tender (2 to 2 1/2 hours).
