Porter Beans-Barbecue - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. pink beans
    ham hock
    2 (14 1/2 oz.) cans Mexican stewed tomatoes
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    2 large onions, chopped
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1/2 to 1 c. sugar
Preparation
    Soak beans overnight or parboil with a teaspoon of soda; rinse.
    Mix together and cook slowly for several hours.
