Mavis' Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks margarine
    3 c. sugar
    3 c. Swans Down cake flour, sifted
    6 eggs, separated
    8 oz. sour cream
    1/4 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. almond extract
    1 tsp. pure vanilla
Preparation
    Cream together margarine and sugar.
    Add egg yolks one at a time, beating well after each addition.
    Mix soda in sour cream. Add flour alternately with sour cream and soda mixture, beginning and ending with flour.
    Next beat egg whites until stiff peaks form.
    Fold in other mixture.
    Add flavorings.
    Put mixture into Bundt pan that has been sprayed with Pam and floured.
    Bake in a 300\u00b0 oven for 1 1/2 hours.
    Cool 5 to 10 minutes before turning out.
